Surgical Dental Assistant (m/f), Christchurch in Christchurch, Canterbury

Your tasks:
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Order and monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory
- Expose dental diagnostic x-rays
- Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedures
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Clean teeth, using dental instruments
- Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions
- Schedule appointments, prepare bills and receive payment for dental services, complete insurance forms, and maintain records, manually or using computer
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist
- Clean and polish removable appliances
Your skills:
- Writing computer programs for various purposes
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluatequality or performance
- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
- Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
- Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions
