Mobile Applications Developer (IOS and Android), Christchurch in Christchurch, Canterbury

Platinum Recruitment are partnering with this Christchurch based software applications developer as they look to strengthen their mobile applications delivery capability. They are looking for an experienced applications developer with experience across mobile and web applications, with a focus on IOS and Android technologies.
Responsibilities include:
Create and review detailed technical and functional requirements and help with mobile applications technical designs and solutions
Design and develop iOS and / or Android applications
Test, debug, and maintain software throughout life cycle
Work with stakeholders to define requirements
Work with cross-functional team to deliver projects
Assist in the design and development of back-end services
To be successful you will need
Solid mobile UX design, coding and support/maintenance skills
Understanding the fundamental native UI components (such as view controllers, scroll views, table views, etc.)
Familiarity with OOP best practices
Demonstrable portfolio of IOS and / or Android apps. Your presence in the app store is a plus
Proficiency in Java, the Android framework, Windows phone development, and hybrid app development(HTML5/CSS3) is a huge plus
Be a team player with great communication skills, patience, and drive
Strong desire to innovate
